Hi Everyone
Hope you all had a good October and that Sandy wasn’t too much for an issue for anyone. November promises to be rather exciting with eclipses and planets changing direction. So here we go:
Direction Changes:
Mercury: Everyone’s favorite retrograde, but the timing of this one is pretty interesting. He goes retrograde on Election Day (November 6th) at 6:04 p.m. EST. He’ll be at 4 degrees Sagittarius. Since Mercury rules computers and such, it will be interesting to see if there’s any impact on the computerized voting machines or any monkeying with communication grids. He goes direct on November 26th — right after Black Friday. Those with any planet or significant point on their chart from 0-10 degrees Aries, Leo, Virgo, Pisces or Gemini may feel this shift in energy more acutely.
Neptune: Neptune turns herself around and starts moving forward again in Pisces on November 10th. She will be stationary, i.e. not moving on Election day at 0 degrees Pisces. Attention water signs: Cancer, and Scorpio at early degrees — also Virgo, Gemini and Sagittarius. By early I mean from 0-9 degrees. Neptune is the planet of illusion, fog, compassion, and glamour. She is in her own sign right now which increases the ease of her energetic expression(s). Be patient if you are not seeing a situation clearly. Neptune may be providing another perspective, as things look different when shrouded in fog.
Scorpio — speaking of Scorpio its two rulers, Mars and Pluto, will be running right next to each other in Capricorn staring around November 17th. Anyone with planets at 0-15 degrees Capricorn, Cancer, Libra, Aries, Virgo or Taurus may be more aware of this dynamic duo picking up the pace of restructuring old patterns and institutions that no longer work. Coming so close to the election, I think we may see increased gridlock in the institutions of government making it blatantly (I hope!) obvious what isn’t working. Mars (energy) and Pluto (transformation) should pick up the pace some — but of course, Mars is also the god of war, so we may see increased and deepening conflict as people refuse to let go.
Eclipses:
Solar: A solar eclipse occurs on Tuesday November 13th att 5:08 p.m. The sun will be at 21 degrees Scorpio. Remember that a solar eclipse occurs at a new moon. Anyone in Australia will be able to see it, but the rest of us will feel it. Solar eclipses generally signal new beginnings. Those with planets or other significant points at 18-24 degrees Scorpio, Taurus, Aquarius, Leo, Pisces, or Cancer will like be more sensitive to this eclipse. The effects of the eclipse last for a long time — generally one month for every hour of the eclipse. This one will last about 4 hours, so whatever point on your chart this “hits” will remain sensitive for a long time and will be activated by any other transit to it.
Lunar: The lunar eclipse occurs on Wednesday, November 28th at 9:46 a.m. The moon will be at 6 degrees Gemini and it will be full. We may be able to see it but it will appear that the northern part of the moon will dim. Attention those with planets at 3-9 degrees Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces, Aquarius or Libra. Lunar eclipses are about ending old patterns and service. This eclipse will also last about 4 hours.
Hope you all have a great November and Thanksgiving. And I would ask that we all hold this country in light with the intention that this election be for the highest and best for all of us with harm to none.
Peace and blessings,
Margaret
